One Game. Two Clubs.
A Real Connection.
A commitment-based program that pairs US youth soccer clubs with partner academies across our global FTBLRLIFE community. Not a social follow. A real relationship, with real skin in the game, from day one.
Where a club in Denver, Dallas or Greenville meets a club in Nairobi, Kampala or Kathmandu.Register Interest →
Same Game. Different Pitch.
A kid in Denver and a kid in Nairobi. A kid in Austin and a kid in Kathmandu. A kid in San Jose and a kid in Kampala. Same game. Same dreams. They have never met.
FTBLRLIFE Sister Clubs changes that. US clubs active in the FTBLRLIFE community apply to be paired with a sister academy anywhere in our global community. From that moment, two clubs follow each other, meet monthly, trade stories, and build a real relationship through the game.
Every FTBLRLIFE Ball you send comes back as connection, learning and real stories that change lives on both sides of the world.
We built this program the way we did for a reason. Programs without commitment die. We have seen it. So we ask every US club to put real skin in the game from day one, because that is what makes the relationship actually happen.
What a Sister Club Signs Up For
Four commitments. Non-negotiable. Every US club. From the day you are matched.
A Named Liaison
One person at your club owns the Sister Club relationship. Not “the club.” A real human with a name and an inbox. Without this, programs die in the gap between everyone’s responsibility and no one’s.
Monthly Virtual Meetup
Minimum one video call per month between your Sister Club and ours. Coaches, players, or both. We provide a simple agenda so you are not starting from scratch. The hour a month is what keeps the relationship alive.
Donate 25 FTBLRLIFE Balls. Change a Season.
Your club, families or local sponsors raise $1,000 to send 25 FTBLRLIFE Balls to your Sister Club. No program fee. Every ball carries a QR code that brings their players into our global community. Then the photos, videos and stories start coming back, and your players see exactly what they made happen.
Sign the Sister Club Code
Five principles both clubs agree to when they are matched. See the Code below. Signing it is how we know you are in for real, not for the photo op.
Five Principles. Both Clubs Agree.
- We show up. We honor the monthly meeting commitment. If we have to reschedule, we communicate like adults.
- We lead with respect. Our Sister Club is a partner, not a project. We learn from them as much as we give.
- We share real stories. We trade actual content from our season, not marketing. Rough footage, honest moments, real players.
- We do not ghost. If life gets in the way, we tell our Sister Club. Silence is the one thing that kills this.
- We play the long game. This is a relationship, not a one-time donation. We are in it for the years, not the quarter.
Three Ways to Go Deeper
Every Sister Club starts with the four commitments above. From there, the relationship can grow in these directions.
ContentTrade the Season
Beyond the monthly meetup, trade content throughout the year. Training clips, game highlights, player profiles, year-in-review videos. Each club becomes the other’s window into a totally different football world.
ScaleMore Balls, More Impact
Go beyond the 25-ball year-one commitment. Many clubs run family drives, tournament fundraisers, and sponsor campaigns to send more. More balls mean more kids reached and a stronger foundation for the relationship.
TravelHost & Visit
When both clubs are ready, host visiting players for guest spots on your roster. Send your team for a tournament trip. Open your homes for a cultural exchange. A life experience your players will remember long after the final whistle.
A FTBLRLIFE community that spans the globe. Your Sister Club could be anywhere.

What Club Directors Ask Us
What exactly does joining cost?
The 25 FTBLRLIFE Balls donated to your Sister Club in year one: $1,000. That is the only required financial commitment. No program fee. No membership dues. The donation goes to the FTBLRLIFE Foundation and covers ball purchasing, distribution costs, equipment, and the broader programs that reach academies worldwide. Your 25 balls arrive at your Sister Club.
Why 25 balls? Can it be less?
25 balls creates meaningful impact for a sister academy. We built the program around that number because real partnerships are what make this work.
How do most clubs fund the 25 balls?
We suggest running a ball donation drive at your club through the families. It is a great way for the whole community to get involved, and we can help you plan it.
Who pays for travel?
The traveling club pays its own way. We help with introductions, in-country logistics, and the planning. Many clubs fundraise for trips through their families and local sponsors. We do not promise travel funding and we do not take a cut of travel costs.
What makes a club a good fit for Sister Clubs?
The clubs that thrive here want to make a real impact, locally and globally. They are curious about other cultures. They want their players to grow beyond the pitch, with experiences that shape them for life and stand out on a college application. If that sounds like your club, you are already one of us.
Can we pick our sister club or will one be assigned?
You pick. We send you a shortlist based on your age groups and interests, then you choose. The best matches start from mutual interest, not from someone being assigned.
What happens if a club stops showing up?
We check in after missed meetings. If a Sister Club relationship is no longer working, we help both sides have the conversation and, if needed, rematch. We do not force dead relationships to continue.
Can non-US clubs apply?
The program launches with US clubs matched to international academies. Over time we will expand to multi-direction matches. If you are a non-US club wanting to be part of this, fill out the form and tell us where you are.
