Hamz Stadium Nakivubo set to host CECAFA U17 Championship this December
The newly FIFA-certified Hamz Stadium-Nakivubo is gearing up to host the CECAFA U17 Championship from December 14-27, 2024.
This marks a major milestone for the stadium as it will be the first major international tournament held at the venue since its recent upgrade.
The tournament will feature nine teams competing for a chance to qualify for the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in 2025.

"Cootes actions were found to be in serious breach of the provisions of his employment contract, with his position deemed untenable. "Supporting Coote continues to be important to us and we remain committed to his welfare. "Coote has a right to appeal the decision to terminate his employment."
