๐จ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: Champions League new format set to start next season, all the details! ๐โจ
โ The current, historical 32-team group stage format will transition to a ๐๐-๐ญ๐๐๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฉ๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ from 2024.
โ Each team will face eight different opponents, drawn from each of the four pots โ resulting in 4 home games and 4 away games with total ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐๐.
โ Teams that secure positions 1 to 8 will qualify directly for the round of 16. Teams ranked 9 to 24 will compete against each other in a knockout play-off round.
โ๏ธ Teams ranked 25 to 36 will be eliminated from all competitions with immediate effect, UEFA confirms.
