Report: FTBLRLIFE App Founders Visit to Mukuru kwa Reuben Slum

On April 22, 2024, Mukuru kwa Reuben Stadium played host to an extraordinary event that brought together football enthusiasts from all walks of life. Organized by Arizen Community Based Sports Organization, the event aimed to celebrate unity, passion, and community through the beautiful game of football. With a focus on nurturing young talent and fostering a sense of belonging, the day promised to be filled with excitement, inspiration, and meaningful conversations.

Participants:

The event welcomed a diverse range of participants, including footballers, parents, fans, managers, referees, and community members. Esteemed guests such as David Clarke, founder of the FTBLRLIFE App, Titus Mulama of the Nextstar initiative, Kelwish Walubuka, Kenya ambassador for FTBLRLIFE App, and Coach Bonface, technical director Nextstar all-stars Mutembei, Professional footbaler posta rangers playing in FKFPL, graced the occasion with their presence. Their involvement added prestige and excitement to the event, inspiring all those in attendance.

Activities:

From 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, the stadium buzzed with energy as young footballers took to the pitch to showcase their skills in the U-11 years tournament. The matches were not only a display of talent but also a testament to the power of football in bringing communities together. Additionally, an outdoor conversation led by David Clarke provided a platform for engaging discussions on topics such as the transformative power of football, the role of technology in the sport, and the importance of community engagement.
